Oregon

This past week we were able to go to Oregon to spend some time
Craig's family. We had a great time. Lincoln and
Craig getting ready to board the plane.
On our drive from Portland to Roseburg
we stopped at a waterfall called Silver Falls
and did a little hiking.
Lincoln and I walking under the waterfall.
On our little hike we stopped to let
Lincoln play in a little bit of water.
After that he didn't want to leave he just
wanted to sit down and play.
We found a big tree stump in the middle of the path
and Lincoln decided he was going to climb on it.
While we were at Grandma and Grandpa Fryer's
house Lincoln got to go swimming in their pool.
Link loves water.
Playing outside getting ready to go to the coast.
While we were over on the coast we were able to
go to the Oregon Caves. It was really neat. I don't
think that I have ever been in a cave that was as
big and deep as this one.
It was only about 44 degrees in the cave.

Lincoln was to little to go inside
so Grandma and Grandpa volunteered
to stay outside with him.
Thanks Liz and Andy we had
a great time.
They asked Craig to follow up at the back
of the tour to make sure everyone made it through
so we were able to take lots of good pictures.
Lincoln riding a bear at the Lodge of Oregon
Caves.
Over on the coast we went over to the beach.
Of course it was way to cold to swim or ever
pretty much ever touch the water but it was sure
pretty.

Family picture at the beach.
Lincoln liked playing in all the rocks.
While on the coast we also go to go to the redwoods.
Some of those trees are HUGE! It is amazing that
a tree can grow so big. This is us standing in the
roots of a tree.
This tree grew sideways like this.
Lincoln found a tree that was perfect for
him. He was having a blast standing under
it.
Walking over a bridge.
Grandma and Grandpa with Lincoln in front
of one of the trees.
A visual on how big some of them were.
Lincoln found the perfect spot on one
of the trees he was so mad when we made
him get down to keep going.
This tree was tipped over so we climbed on top
to get a picture.
On our way back to our house on the coast we stopped
to watch some people who were crabbing. These
people had just pulled up a trap and unfortunately they
were all to small but at least we got to see
how many came up and watch them crawl all over.
Us with one of the crabs.
This beach had really cool Huge Rocks that
were just all over.

Lincoln liked the bubbles that kept coming up
with the water.

Lincoln loved touching the sand with his
fingers but hated walking in it. He didn't
like it in his toes.
Lincoln with his cousin Claire. The are practically the
same age and were so cute together.
Cousin Ella got this cute table and chairs from
Grandma and Grandpa for her birthday and
was so nice to share it with Lincoln.
While we were in Medford we were able to go on
a Jetboat ride done the Rogue River. It was a lot of
fun. We got very wet.
Craig and I on the boat.
We saw a bald eagle up in the tree. I think I
have only seen them at the Zoo not in the wild.
On Friday we were able to go the Wild Life
Safari. You drive your car through the park and
they have animals that acutally walk up to the car
it was pretty neat.
This buffalo looked like it was going to charge us.
These bears were out taking a dip in the pool.

We saw these llamas up close and were pretty sure that
the baby had very recently just been born.
These camels were really close I opened up the door in
the van and they were right next to us.
Friday afternoon Craig, Todd and I were able to
float the river. It was a little cold at first but a lot
of fun.
Ready to go and a little nervous about the
rapids. Don't worry we made it safely
and had fun.
We celebrated Craig's 27th Birthday while we
were there. Thanks for all the cake and presents
everyone. We had a really good time and can't
wait to go again.

Friday afternoon Lincoln woke up from his nap with

a fever from cutting teeth and hasn't been feeling

to good since. Here he is snuggling with Daddy.
