Our little man

Isn't he the cutest little boy you have ever seen.
We got him a new church outfit this week
and this is his first time wearing it. It
is a 3-6 month outfit and is still to big for him.
I had to safety pin the pants.
What a cute smile.
The two cutest boys ever. I sure love you both.
Thanks Craig for being such a wonderful husband
and dad. Lincoln and I love you so much.

Pumpkins!

On Sunday we had my family come over and we had
dinner and then we carved pumpkins. We were laughing
so hard. We had so much fun carving our pumpkins.
The pumpkin on the left is mittens, we carved it for
him. Then Craig's is the one with the big smile, isn't
it great.
They all turned out so different. We all seemed to have
such great Ideas. My pumpkin is the far right, Tyler
craved it for me and then Lincoln's.
It was mittens 2nd Birthday on Saturday so we
gave him treats on a plate with a candle, he loved it.
Here we are during our craving party.
Cleaning out the pumpkins. Kel wasn't able to be
there, we missed you Kel but we were glad you had
fun at your apartment.
Oh my gosh isn't he cute. We went to a pumpkin
patch in Orem at the Vineyard and took some
great pictures of Lincoln. Isn't he so big.
Lincoln and mommy. He just woke up from a nap
so he was so happy for the pictures and seemed to
love the pumpkins even though he didn't know
what they were.
Lincoln and daddy aren't they cute together.
Those pumpkins were huge too bad we didn't get
one of those to carve.
A pumpkin just his size.
We love halloween.

High Chair

We finally decided that we would try out Lincoln's
high chair. He loved it and it was so much easier
to feed him when it wasn't falling all over. He is
still just a little small but overall it worked great.
He seemed to really like it.
He loves eating his baby food. He was so
ready to be eating something else.

This is his halloween costume. Grandma and Grandpa
Ward ( Michelle and Ron) gave it to him. Doesn't
he look cute.

Chicago

This past week Craig went to Chicago on Business and
Lincoln and I were able to go with him. We were glad
that we were able to go because we wouldn't ever
go there on vacation so it was fun to go see some where we
never would be able to to see. We were a little nervous about the
3 hour plane ride with Lincoln but he did very well on the way there.
On the way back he was pretty fussy and didn't sleep at all but we made
it home all in one piece. The above picture is of us at a pizza place, that
has great deep dish pizza famous to Chicago.
Lincoln did not sleep very well at all on this trip
so Craig and I were pretty tired but we still had a lot of
fun. Really one of the only ways to get him to sleep
was to put him in the stroller and walk outside. He loves to
be outside. Lincoln and I had fun walking around the area where
our hotel was. It was a little frusterating because we were in the financial district
of Chicago everything closed right around 5:00 every night so we had a hard time
finding places to eat for dinner but we survived.
We got to see lots of buildings while we were there
in Chicago, this one was really cool. This is Opera's
house. She owns 12,000 square feet which I can only
imagine how expensive it would cost.
We decided one night to take Lincoln to the pool
in the hotel. This was his first time in a swimming
pool and unfortunately the pool was very cold so
we only stayed in for a few minutes, but I think
that really liked being in the water. Aren't my
boys so cute. I love them!
It was very shocking when we first got in because
it was so cold. Isn't Lincoln so cute.
On top of the Sears Tower. What a beautiful
view. Aren't we a cute little family.

In front of our hotel. We stay at the Holiday Inn
which was on Top of the Chicago-Sun Times
building. It was a very busy building. We thought
it was neat that Chicago is built right around the river.
Our last night in Chicago we went to a Steak House.
The food was great. Lincoln was quite as excited to be there as us
but we had fun.

We went on a tour of the city the last day
we were there on a double decker bus. It was
so neat to be able to see all the sites of Chicago.
We stopped at Navy Pier and were able to walk around.
Navy Pier is set right next to Lake Michigan.
It was very pretty there, but also
very chilly. We had to keep Lincoln bunddled
up the whole time. He didn't seem to mind.
There were some shops on Navy Pier that we
walked through, when we were inside we decided
to sit down for a few minutes and rest and while
we were sitting a little play started for kids. This is a picture
of how much Lincoln liked it, the bottom picutre
is what he was watching. Isn't he so cute.
Thanks for taking us with you Craig we had fun.

Caught in my Quarks

Elly tagged me.

It was hard to narrow it down to six since I think I have way more than that:

#1 I have issues with organization. I am always looking for ways to organize my house and everything I have. I am constantly looking for things to organize and ways to make things clean. Even when I have just organized a room and thrown things out I still don't feel like they are organized.

#2 I am always scared about eating new foods. Whenever I go out to eat I always order the same things and if we don't go out I would prefer my own cooking. I am just scared of trying new things or ending up having to eat something I don't like. Craig calls me picky but I just like the things I like.

#3 I hate making decisions. I am always afraid that the person or people involved won't like what I decide or that it will offend them. I would rather have everyone else happy than say what I like or what I would want to do. I think it is so awkward going places with people that you don't know very well and trying to decide on things. I would rather just have someone tell me what we are doing.

#4 I only like to eat meat that is practically burned. When I cook or go anywhere to eat I always make sure the meat is extremely well done. It drives Craig crazy when I order something because I ask to make sure that it is cooked until almost burned. It makes me nervous when meat isn't fully cooked.

#5 Now that I have Lincoln I am going to Walmart several times a week. I can't go a week without buying something new for him. Every time I go to the store I have to find something that he just has to have. I think our son has more things than he will ever use. But it makes me feel good to buy things for him.

#6 I am constantly reading Baby Center online to make sure Lincoln is developing the way he is supposed to, eating what and when he is supposed to and making sure he doesn't have any kind of illness. I am the most nervous mother. Every time I talk to my mom I am telling her "well I read this about babies online, so everything must be okay." It is all about the internet. I am hoping that I will grow out of this stage, but I am so worried about taking good care of this baby that I cause myself to have anxiety.

Well now you know some of the crazy things about me.

Laughing

Lincoln has started laughing more and I think it is so

cute so here is a little video of him laughing. Sorry it's

a little shaky that is what you get when I am doing it

one handed.

Eat your Veggies

Today for Lunch we feed Lincoln his first Veggies. He
ate Sweet Potatoes. He seemed to really like them, at
least that is what I see from his face.

5 Months

Lincoln is now 5 months old. I can't believe how fast
he is growing. He is now grabbing at everything. He
loves to pick things up with his hands and stick it in
his mouth. He is chewing on everything. He is also talking a lot
more to us. It is so fun because now that he is older
he recognizes Craig and I and is so happy to see us, I love it.
We just love having Lincoln he is such a good baby.
The onsie we gave my mom and dad when we
found out we were pregnant now fits Lincoln
so we had him wear it the other night. Isn't he cute.
