Help!

I need help. I am having the hardest time getting Lincoln to take any sort of a nap during the day. If any one has an advice on how to get him to take naps and would like to give me any pointers that would be great!

I'd just put him in his crib and let him cry and figure it out. Sydney was horrible at sleeping at night, and my doctor told me to just let her cry. He'll figure it out. If you've tried that, then I don't know what else to tell you. Good Luck. Trust me, I know how hard it is to have a baby not taking a nap.

I second the crying it out. I'm sorry!!

Just let him cry. It is so hard to do for parents. I play some music in Kate's room and now she will just hang out in her crib even if she isn't asleep, at least she is resting.

When he's tired, feed him, and them put him in the crib, then go in the bedroom, shut the door, and put some earphones on so you can't hear him. That or take a shower that he has most likely prevented you from taking all day.
Usually in 30 mins he'll be out. If not, hey, you just had 30 mins to yourself!

Don't give up! He definately NEEDS naps; he'll give in soon and then everyone will be happier!

I think routine has been the key for my kids. I lay them down at the same time everyday! For Ava right now it is 1:00 PM. I just go in lay her down and give her a binkie! She cried at first, but now just knows that this is nap time and goes to sleep! Good Luck! I know it can be frustrating!

I'm so sorry I was absolutely no help during your move! It sounds like you guys know how to do a move, super organized! I hope you are adjusting to life back at your mom's and good luck with finding a new house. You will have to let us know when you find one. I hope you guys have a Merry Christmas!
