Sewing

I decided I was going to make a blanket for the baby

and when we were at the store a lady asked me if

I had ever made a rag quilt. She got me a pattern and

told how to make one so I decided to attempt it, even

though I am not very good at sewing yet. Saturday I

finally had eveything cut out and the front and backs

sewn together so it was time to put it all together.

Mittens loves to help with everything around the

house. He pretty much sat on the table next to me

the whole time I was sewing. Craig also helped a lot

with this project, he helped me figure out all the

measurements, and the random pattern.

What a great husband. The blanket turned

out great and now I just have to cut the material to make

it fray. I am excited.

Vet

On Friday we took the cat to the vet for his yearly

shots. He did really good and is in good health except

for one problem. The vet said he is over weight, poor cat.

We had to buy new cat food that was low fat and we have to

watch the portions we feed him. Hopefully he won't get to hungry.

Jazz Game

Craig and I and Kelsey and Alex got to go to a Jazz Game

and sit in a Suite on Monday. The game was pretty good,

but it was fun being in the Suite and getting to eat lots.

Work Baby Shower

The girls at work gave me a baby shower on

Monday. It was so nice of them.Megan and Mom were able to come. I am

glad they were there.

We got so many cute things. We are going to have

the cutest baby.

Kendra made this really cute diaper

cake. She used the Jungle Theme

from our nursery. Thanks to everyone

for everything they gave us and and for

the baby shower.

34 Weeks!

Only 6 more weeks to go.

CRAZY CAT!

Our Cat loves boxes. Craig and I were

working on something and had this box out

and the next thing we knew mittens had jumped

in the tiny hole and was just sitting there looking

at us. What a cute cat.

Saturday I decided to wash our comforter.

When I took it out of the dryer if wasn't completely

dry so I laid it across the couch. When Craig and I came

home from running errands the cat was asleep on the

comforter and now I need to wash it again becuase he

got hair all over it. Oh well at least he was comfortable.

NURSERY

We have pretty much have our nursery

put together now. Thanks to Craig's mom we were

able to get the bedding for the crib.

We are getting more and more excited to

see our little baby and bring him home. Hopefully

the next serveral weeks go by fast.

We have had to keep the door closed to the baby's

room becuase our cat thinks that all these new

things are for him. He is constantly trying to sleep in

the crib, so we are trying to teach him he is not

allowed in there. Poor Cat!
