Lincoln's Photo Shoot

We took Lincoln to have his pictures taken last

week and it was quiet the experience. However, the

pictures turned out great, and I think he is so

cute in all of them. I have posted just a few of my

favorites although it was hard to pick just a few.

I made a cake and it needed to be frosted so

I was attempting to do so with a sleeping baby.

This past weekend we went to IKEA and found

this chair. Mittens has already claimed it as his.

Doctors

I took Lincoln to the Doctors on Friday for his two week appointment. He is very healthy and doing well. He now weighs 7 lbs 15 oz. and is almost 21 inches long. I can't believe how fast he is growing up, we can already tell he is gaining weight and he definately doesn't look quiet as small as he did when I brought him home. I can't believe he will be four weeks old on Saturday. We sure love having him in our house and can't imagine not having him here.

Baby Lincoln!!!

Lincoln James Fryer was born at 2:40 AM MST on May 3rd, 2008.

He weighed 7 pounds 3 ounces and was 18.5 inches long.

On Friday May 2nd we sat down to watch a movie at about 7:30pm. Nicole had been feeling some contractions here and there, but around 8:30 they started to hit really hard. We already had a couple false-alarms, so we were a little cautious. The contractions were definitely more intense and we just knew that it was time. We packed a few last minute items and jumped into the car. Although we raced up to the American Fork Hospital, it still was the longest drive ever! We arrived at about 9:30pm.

It didn't take long for the nurses to know that this was it. After initial evaluation, they checked us into Labor and brought us to our own room. Initial labor was quite difficult, but after the epidural, easy sailing! At about 1:30am the midwife said that she was fully dialated and ready to go! After 50 minutes of pushing, Lincoln was born at 2:40am.

We decided that the epidural was a life saver.
